The hype surrounding article spinning is incredible and if true would have totally changed the search landscape long before now. So when you search for highly competitive terms why are spun articles rarer than the proverbial hens teeth. Then there is the question of ethics; is it ethical to take someone’s content and render it unrecognizable and claim it to be your work? And what about the unreadable gibberish Article spinning often produces; what impression will the reader take away about you, your company and your products if you present them with incoherent nonsense?
These are important questions which seem to go unanswered by the developers and affiliates of article spinning software. The following articles bypass the hype and discuss aspects of this marketing technique you should be aware of.
Article Spinning Software and Competitive Keywords
Article Spinning Software and Competitive Keywords This article highlights the total lack of evidence that spun articles are capable of rankings for competitive terms. The proof is simple to see (or not see), just try searching for terms from the finance or mortgage markets for example. See any spun articles?
Article Spinning, Good or Bad?
Article Spinning, Good or Bad? Can article spinning really beat Google’s duplicate content filters? Two article marketers put spun articles to the test, one using un-spun articles and the other using his spinning expertise try to outrank each other to find out which tactic actually works best.
Article Spinning, Is It Ethical?
Article Spinning, Is It Ethical? Some article spinners come with the ability to scrape content from the web. This feature is greatly appreciated by black hats and spammers alike and makes their job a whole lot easier. This tells us much about the thinking behind the product, how the developers see their target users and what they think their target users will ultimately use their product for. I think it is fair to say that their market research was spot on.
In summary, the findings of the above articles define article spinning as an unethical marketing technique that fails to get round Google’s duplicate content filters and is incapable of ranking for competitive terms. So why bother with such a pointless nefarious activity?

In 2002 blogs took the world by storm, moulding the way we marketed online permanently. The most powerful function of WordPress itself lies in its ability to manage large amounts of text, audio and video content. Yes, you CAN make money doing paid surveys from the comfort of your home. A lot of people have been doing this for years, including stay at home parents, college students , retirees, and anyone who wants to put in the effort.
Did I say effort? Yes, unfortunately you have to put some effort into taking surveys, and many people find that the amount of time put in is not worth the effort . When you look at it from one perspective , it may appear that you can make $50-$100 per hour. Marketers love to throw these figures around. The truth is that while some surveys may pay $25 for a 30 minute survey (the equivalent of $50/hour), you will also have to take a lot of other surveys where you get nothing except a sweepstakes drawing. What’s more, you have to spend a lot of time setting yourself up just to get started.
Nevertheless, most people who desire to work at home don’t have all day to devote to working. That’s why filling in surveys and participating in focus groups can still be a viable option as an entry level job. The key word is “job.” You will only get paid as long as you are taking surveys, so if you are looking for passive income or the kind of leveraged wealth building that owning your own business can provide, paid surveys won’t do it. But if you just want some occasional income from easy to perform online activites, it is worth giving paid surveys a try. It doesn’t even matter what country you live in, as there are international paid surveys as well as domestic ones.
One problems is that in order to get the most opportunites , you have to sign up with a lot of survey sites. So how do you find all these sites? Survey databases are available which give you a list of online survey companies. It’s too bad that most of the survey database sites charge you $35-$50 just to access their list. Fortunately there are other survey database sites that you can access for free. PaidSurveyMall is one such site, and it offers you a free list of paid surveys sites that you can join. Additional help is offered to make sure you have the best chance to succeed.
Although people living in the United States have the most chances to make money taking surveys , there are survey companies that offer residents worldwide the opportunity to make some additional income online through paid surveys. For example, PaidSurveyMall has segmented its list into sublists for residents of different countries. They have a list of Canadian paid surveys, as well as as a list of survey companies for UK residents, Australian residents, New Zealand residents and many others.
If you think you would be interested in getting paid for your time, opinions and observations, here are a few tips on being successful:
- REGISTER WITH AS MANY MARKET RESEARCH COMPANIES AS POSSIBLE: This can seem like a long task, but it will pay off. The more companies you register with the more chances to participate in surveys you will receive — which means more potential income for you.
- BE HONEST IN FILLING OUT THE SURVEYS : Companies are looking for people with different profiles to take their surveys. Trying to give them what you think they want will only get you in trouble.
- CHECK EMAIL REGULARLY: Most companies send out email invitations for the surveys they offer. They have a specific number of respondents they need, and when that quota fills up, the survey is closed. The surveys that pay the most fill up quickly, so it pays to check your email frequently to get in to those first.
- FILL IN THE EXTRA PROFILES: Most survey companies ask you to fill in additional profiles (i.e.: what vehicle(s) you own, your spending habits online, etc.) The better you fill in these additional profiles, the better you will qualify for more surveys that fit your situation.
You won’t break the bank taking online surveys, and there are definitely more lucrative ways to earn money online, but if you don’t want to take the time to learn all about internet business opportunities or don’t want to risk a lot of money starting from scratch, doing paid surveys can be a way to make a little extra spending money. You really don’t have much to lose by giving it a try!

So many marketers out there rely on good old Google for their income. And I don’t just mean rely… they’re practically slaves to the Californian search engine company. They do everything they can to get high rankings in Google or to comply with their Adwords. But what they don’t realise is… there’s a whole world of other traffic sources out there, once you really understand this, you’ll wonder why you even spent so much time with Lord Google in the first place.
For starters Twitter is one of the most visited sites on the net and with their newly introduced search engine function they are very likely to give Google a run for their money. After all people spend more time Twittering than they do idling around on the Google front page. Of course some of this will be tempered by Google Chrome which lets you search right in the address bar.
Nevertheless as outlined in the Affiliate Funnel System just recently, you can also get hordes of traffic from media buying – where you get banners placed on high traffic websites. You can get swarms of visitors from Social Media sites, from MSN and Yahoo too. Don’t discount the smaller search engines, they have a ton of cheaper traffic which you can take advantage of.
For anyone wondering how to make money online you need traffic and you need to convert that traffic. Conversion is a subject for another day but if you want traffic, the rise of super sites like Twitter makes it easy…

Studies show a potential visitor will take seven to nine messages before s/he becomes comfortable with you and eventually contacts or preferably buys your products or services. If you are left with only one marketing tool, what would you retain? Most marketers would say autoresponders or their email list. This tells you how serious you should treat your email marketing effort AND your autoresponder tool.
What is an autoresponder? An email autoresponder allows you to follow up your potential customers at a predefined timeframe automatically through emails. You may acquire this functionality by installing a script on your webhosting or you can acquire this function through third party autoresponder service providers Is your email autoresponder working as effectively as designed? What criteria should you consider when it comes to picking an email autoResponder? What is the single most important criteria when choosing your autoresponder service?
Three criteria you should consider before you invest your hard-earned cash in this vital marketing tool. A great deliverability is the most sought-after feature of any email autoresponder. Any internet user would receive tons of SPAM mails in their mail-box each day. If you use Gmail, you should be familiar with the screen shot below. There are 2808 spam emails in my Gmail account as at the time of writing. I will never read these emails. If you use some poor autoresponder service, your emails will automatically be streamed into these SPAM folders. You may ask, “What determines which email go to “SPAM” folder?” Unless you are gmail.com, you don’t know their “way of thinking”.
But definitedly you don’t want to be the one who emails the optins to their SPAM folder. But what is the main cause for your emails not being able to reach your targetted prospects or subscribers? There are many reasons why it is the case, but by far the most important reason is this: Is your autoresponder a self hosted script OR third party autoresponder service? As mentioned, you acquire your autoresponder function either by the script you hosted on your website or you may build your list and your autoresponder through a third party service provider. The mission of a third party autoresponder service providers is to deliver your emails. Why do I not recommend a self-hosted script which you can install onto your webhost?
The reason is one word: “SPAM”. Some of your subscribers will report you as SPAM, no matter how diligent and sincere you are with your email marketing campaigns. People just forget they sign up on your list. They will report your emails as SPAMs some day down the road. It’s just a matter of “when”, not “If”. When subscribers report your emails as spams, their internet service provider (ISP) may blacklist your future emails. This blocks your emails getting into their inbox in the future. I have previously used a hosted service, which had good results initially (for about 6 months). After a few of my ex-subscribers complaint me spamming them, my emails are not as effective as before. Treat email autoresponders service companies eat and breath on deliverability.
They ensure your emails get delivered. Some autoresponder service us claiming that it delivers 99.34%, meaning it their readers get 99 emails out of 100 emails! There are some free autoresponder services out there. I urge you not to waste your time finding or even trying one. Why? I have used those services and only found myself promoting someone!|s else services. Those free services basically send out your emails with their own embedded advertising. Your readers will read their ads first before your messages. If you are not serious about your business, use free autoresponsers. Price should be the least concern, as autoresponder is your lifeblood of your viral traffic. Usually a quality autoresponder costs around $20 a month.
